Cannes selections

Guy Lodge over at In Contention has the official selections for this year's Cannes Film Festival, which includes Mike Leigh's Another Year and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's Biutiful vying for the Palme d'Or. Apparently there are still some competition slots to be filled. Meanwhile, Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, Woody Allen's You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, and Oliver Stone's Wall Street sequel will screen out of competition. Alas, no Tree of Life to be seen. We'll just have to keep on waiting.
