A couple of interest:
-Note the conspicuous absence of Nine, which I thought boasted some of the year's best sets.
-The three big sci-fis of the year (Avatar, District 9, and Star Trek) have all earned nods in the Fantasy category. At least one of them has to make it to the Oscars, and my money's on Avatar despite its dependence on CG environments (a la The Lord of the Rings).
