SAG nominations!

The exclamation mark in the header may be a bit much, because this year's slate is one of the most unsurprising ones SAG has ever given us (with one or two exceptions). From Awards Daily:

An Education
The Hurt Locker
Inglourious Basterds

Best Actress
Sandra Bullock, The Blind Side
Helen Mirren, The Last Station
Carey Mulligan, An Education
Gabby Sidibe, Precious
Meryl Streep, Julie & Julia

Best Actor
Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart
George Clooney, Up in the Air
Colin Firth, A Single Man
Morgan Freeman, Invictus
Jeremy Renner, The Hurt Locker

Supporting Actor
Matt Damon, Invictus
Woody Harrelson, The Messenger
Christopher Plummer, The Last Station
Stanley Tucci, The Lovely Bones
Christoph Waltz, Inglourious Basterds

Supporting Actress
Penelope Cruz, Nine
Vera Farmiga, Up in the Air
Anna Kendrick, Up in the Air
Diane Kruger, Inglourious Basterds
Mo’Nique, Precious

-Diane Kruger's nomination is a shocker, and quite frankly, a mistake. Melanie Laurent is the one who should be here. Don't expect Oscar to nominate Kruger over Julianne Moore for A Single Man.
-Despite having the most nominated actors, Up in the Air was snubbed for Ensemble. Think nothing if it. Up in the Air is still an Oscar frontrunner.
-Supporting Actor looks pretty reasonable, but Alfred Molina could oust Matt Damon for an Oscar nod.
-The two lead categories are locked up. They look like they could match Oscar 100%.
