-As it is my second favourite film of the year (so far), I'm glad to see The Hurt Locker doing well here. It also won with the Boston critics today, and Kathryn Bigelow has been cited by both Boston and New York Online. This is a good start.
-T-Bone Burnett had a very good day! His music was given kudos by LA, Boston, and New York Online. It probably won't translate into a nod for Original Score, but this definitely bolsters his chances in Original Song, having written several for Crazy Heart.
-Christopher Waltz and Mo'Nique were also unanimous winners in the Supporting categories for all three critics' groups today. They seem to be on the march to uncontested Oscars - although the threat of sentimental favourite Christopher Plummer still lurks.
