-I am genuinely worried that "I Thought I Lost You", that one-dimensional and grating Miley Cyrus song from Bolt, has a real chance at an Oscar nom. Miley Cyrus as an Academy Award nominee? (shudder!) Such a thing was only ever meant to exist in scary stories told around a campfire!
-Tom Cruise for Tropic Thunder? Yeah, he's funny, but it's not an awards-worthy performance. The HFPA continues to starfuck.
-Note the double nomination for Clint Eastwood... in both of the music categories!
